He was loved and cherished by many people including: parents: Robert Messick and Margaret (Williams) Kramer; stepfather: James Kramer; wife: Emily Clement; daughters: Christine Messick (Joe) and Renee Picking (Mike); son: Raymond Messick; stepchildren: Brian Grogg (Dawn) and Erica Andrews (Jason); grandchildren: Eric Picking (Madison), Haley Picking (Wes), and Ashley Picking (Shawn); step-grandchildren: Jordan Stockamp, Carter Andrews, Preston Andrews, Paige Andrews, and Aria Andrews; brothers: Michael Messick (Eileen) and John Messick (Laura); sisters: Rae Jasper (Ron) and Mary Gunsch.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Divine Mercy Funeral Home (1986 W Cedar Canyons Rd, Huntertown, IN 46748). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PanCan) or to Parkview Hospice.
