He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Hoskins Jr. and Mary Lou Hodge; his sister Dawn Breidenbach; and his nephew Sgt. Jeremy Hodge. He is survived by: his wife Tammy Hoskins; his sons, Charles Hoskins (Sabrina Hall), Alexander Hoskins (Katelyn) and Daniel Hoskins; his grandchildren, Katelynn Hall and Elizabeth Hoskins; his siblings, Chris Payne (Ray), Bob Hodge (Barb), Mike Hodge (Donna), Greg Hodge and Chad Hodge (Tabitha); and his pet Bailey.

Memorials may be made to Gethsemane Lutheran Church.
