He is survived by: his siblings, Jerry Bayes of Fort Wayne, Brenda K. Bayes of Fort Wayne, Ronnie Bayes of Florida, David Bayes of Florida, Arlene Copeland of Florida and Charlene Fry of Fort Wayne. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
