He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Minick and Marcella Minick. He is survived by: his children, Christina "Tina" Franklin (Brian) and Justin Brown (Courtney); his grandchildren, Jesse, Jamie, Cody, Cory, Joshua, Jacob, Caleb and Macie; and his sister Violet Braun.

Memorials may be made to the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception.
