We are sad to announce that on October 5, 2025, at the age of 76, Roger William Poitras (Fort Wayne, Indiana), born in New Haven, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Poitras and Betty Poitras; and his brother Don Poitras. He is survived by: his wife Rita; his children, Brian (Mary), Jeff (Leah) and Sarah; his grandchildren, Sierra, Delilah and Miles; and his siblings, Janet and Tom. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the D. O. McComb & Sons Funeral Home- Maplewood (4017 Maplecrest Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46815). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Blood Cancer United or the Alzheimer's Association.
