He is survived by: his daughter Cheri Shaffer (Jim Aldecoa) of Santa Barbara, California; his sister Donna Wurm of Newton Falls; his brother-in-law David Fleming (Debra) of New Bern; Louis, Gena DeArmond, Lily, Josie, Jon and Jody Brune. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
