He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Plazek and Florence Plazek (Marlett); and his wife Patricia Plazek (Bell). He is survived by: his son Paul H. Plazek (Kim Binder); his granddaughters, Tara Held (Ethan) and Tess Kastner (Cameron); and his great grandchildren, Ryan and Reagan Held.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Divine Mercy Funeral Home (3500 Lake Ave, Fort Wayne, IN 46805). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A committal service was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Fort Wayne Catholic Cemetery (3500 Lake Ave, Fort Wayne, IN 46805).
