He was predeceased by: his parents, LeRoy Thompson and Carmen Thompson Anglin (Iman); his former wife Sharon R. Floor; and his brother Ted Thompson. He is survived by: his sons, Jeff Thompson (Brenna) of Warsaw and Chad Thompson (Jami) of Warsaw; his grandchildren, Trent, Hunter, Jenna, Kaelyn, Mallory and Cameron; his great grandchildren, Easton and Parker; and his fiancée Paula.
