Though Roosevelt may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his great grandchild Bre'Asia Christine Dowdell; and his brothers, David Stalling and Michael Stalling. He is survived by: his children, Lynn Dowdell (Martin), Ernest Dowdell, Tamina Shock (Dave), Dante Hayes and Markiss Dowdell; and his sisters, Barbara Stalling and Bea Mynatt. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the D. O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes - Lakeside Park (1140 Lake Ave, Fort Wayne, IN 46805). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
