As Ruby departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Ruby may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Ruby leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mervin Spencer and Bessie Spencer (Guillum); her husband Lester Palmer; her boyfriend Jim Geyer; and her great grandchild Dylan Tanner.
She is survived by: her children, Julie Jeffrey (Don), Jamie Storm, Jim Geyer (Maria) and Jane Sieber (Paul). She is also survived by nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home For Funerals (6810 Old Trail Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46809). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
