He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Smith and Laura Smith (Maxwell); his son Nick; and his brothers, Dennis and David.
He is survived by: his children, Rusty, Steve, Bobby, Chris and Lisa; his grandchildren, Jayden, Adison, Blake, Cameron, Kayla, Logan, Cody, Christopher, Ari'ana, Davon and Shalynn (Taniya); and his siblings, Richard Smith, Cecil Smith and Brenda Quast. He is also survived by three great grandchildren.
