We announce the death of Ruth Smith of Fort Wayne, Indiana, born in Plymouth, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 29, 2026, at the age of 96. Ruth will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl and Ada; her granddaughter Jessica Kephart; and her siblings, Carl Smith and Jean Swink.
She is survived by: her children, Pamela Kephart (Greg) and Leonard DiBacco, Jr. (Ralphael); her grandchildren, Jennifer Closson (Rodd) and Dominique Jones (Andrew); her great grandchildren, Logan, Dakota Closson and Samantha Jones; and her niece Carol Laborde.
