She is survived by: her children, Steven J. Figel of Fort Wayne, Kevin W. Figel of Fort Wayne and Angela L. Crawford (Bruce) of Fort Wayne; and her sisters, Betty Jo Higgins (Robert) and Lynn Kessinger (Danny). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and grandchildren.
Memorials honoring the memory of Sandy may be made to American Cancer Society or Humane Fort Wayne.
