We announce the death of Sara Louise Sprunger (Fort Wayne, Indiana), who passed away on July 26, 2026, at the age of 81. Sara will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Esther Bucher and Winston "Tom" Bucher; her husband Steve Clapp; her brother-in-law Tim Hanlon; and her son-in-law Terry Zdon.
She is survived by: her children, Holly and Michael (Jessica); her grandchildren, Mats, Pavel Zdon, Foster and Hudson Sprunger; her siblings, Kathy Hanlon, Jean Thomas (Rex) and David Bucher (Pam); and her former husband David Sprunger. She is also survived by extended family and a multitude of friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Plymouth Congregational Church (501 W Berry St, Fort Wayne, IN 46802).
