He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Don, Norma Slain and David L Wright. He is survived by: his parents, Michael Slain and Jeanne Slain; his son Devin; his siblings, Kyle Slain, Todd Slain and Andrea Voors (Dan); his grandmother Dorothy Wright; and his nieces and nephews, Aiden, Michael, Ava, Samantha, Michaela and Avery.

Memorial contributions may be made for Devin's educations fund.
