Sheila Rose Harrington Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sheila Rose Harrington of Fort Wayne, Indiana, who passed away on July 9, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Gromeaux and Dorothy Gromeaux (Murphy); and her husband James M. Harrington. She is survived by: her children, Ryann Harrington of Wabash, Indiana, Tarah Altevogt of Surprise, Arizona and Brett Harrington (Kimberly) of Fort Wayne, Indiana; her sister Andrea Gromeaux-Schnaith (Dale) of Indianapolis, Indiana; her grandchildren, Hannah Worman, Whitney Mon, Paislee Harrington, Gabriel Harrington, Grace Harrington, Charlotte Harrington, Blake Altevogt and Aiden Altevogt; and her great grandchildren, Luca Mon, Sahray Mon, Tucker Worman, Emma Worman and Chosen Mon.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A rosary was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home- Jacobs Chapel (111 S Water St, Monroeville, IN 46773). A Mass was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church - Hessen Cassel (11337 US Hwy 27, Fort Wayne, IN 46816).
Preferred memorials can be given to St. Joseph Catholic Church – Hessen Cassel.
