Stacey Lanet (Lamb) McFadden Obituary
Stacey Lamb McFadden, 62, was born on July 6, 1961 to Norman R and Lorena Lamb in East Orange, New Jersey. Stacey departed this life unexpectedly in her home with family on April 24, 2024.
Stacey was baptized as a young child and loved the Lord with all her heart.
Stacey had two sons, Shahaun and Charles who were both the sole loves of her life until she met the man of her dreams, Malcolm McFadden where they wed and became one in October 2010.
Stacey worked in the medical field for most of her life in Charlotte, North Carolina before she and Malcolm relocated to Fort Wayne, IN, where Stacey was a case manager for Stillwater Hospice. Stacey loved her time in Fort Wayne as she was able to be closer to her son and grandchildren.
Everyone who knew Stacey, was aware of her extravagant parties, love of travel, no nonsense attitude, and her feisty clap backs when someone needed a quick check (or just because!). But in all of that, Stacey had a heart of gold and a sincere love for life, but most importantly, the love for her family. She will sincerely be missed.
Stacey leaves to cherish her memory her husband Malcolm, children Shahaun (Peggy) Rivera, Charles Roseboro, stepchildren, Andrew & Kamilah McFadden of Charlotte, North Carolina, grandchildren Tavian, De'Zheana, M'Rbrasha and A'Tiyanna, and five great grandchildren, Tristan, Landon, Ameina, & Legend of Fort Wayne, In and D'Andru of NC. Sisters, Sherri Holiday of Charlotte, NC, Tiffany (Melvin) Bray and Garret (Anna) Barber of CA, Valerie McFadden (OH) and a host of other relatives and friends in North Carolina, New Jersey, California, and Indiana.
Stacey was preceded in death by her mother & father, Lorena & Norman Lamb, grandparents, Marshall & Lila Lamb, and brother Ernie.
As Stacey departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Stacey may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories we hold dear and the legacy Stacey leaves behind.
