As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Steven David may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward F. Neary and Laurann Neary (Pentecost). He is survived by: his wife Sara Neary; his daughters, Lara Michelle Mattson (Edward) and Deborah S. Sowerby (Scott); and his grandchildren, Matthew Atkinson, Brian Atkinson, John Atkinson, David Sowerby, Ashley Sowerby and Elizabeth Piercy. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Wesleyan Church (1301 S Walnut St, Hartford City, IN 47348).
