Steven E. Modezjewski Obituary

We announce the death of Steven E. Modezjewski (Fort Wayne, Indiana), who passed away on August 30, 2026, at the age of 79. He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen A. Modezjewski and Ruth D. Modezjewski (Stephans). He is survived by: his wife Marsha (Durnell); his children, Teresa Adam (Scott) and Travis Modezjewski (Amanda); his grandchildren, Mara Hendrix (TJ Bohanon), Briana Goepfrich (Brandon), Alyson Modezjewski, Daniel Adam, Marissa Snyder (Colin) and Madison Underwood (Tyler); and his great grandchildren, Sadie, Maizey and Scarlette. He is also survived by three step great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Veterans National Memorial Shrine & Museum, Chapel (2122 O Day Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46818).
