With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sue Elaine (Baker) Maxson of Fort Wayne, Indiana, born in Hamilton, Indiana, who passed away on October 20, 2022 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil Baker and Artie Baker (Beard); her husband John F. Maxson; her siblings, Betty Akers, June Robinette, Ruth Sutton, Mary Ellen Bradtmiller, Keith, Jerald and Max Baker; and her great grandchild K'Liegh Robinson.
She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Smith, Rolla Roe (Wanda) and Melodi Parrish; her stepchildren, SuEllen McQuad, James Maxson (Janet) and John Maxson (Krista); and her brothers, Dean Baker and Larry Baker. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations in her honor may be directed to Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne, VA Medical Center of Northeast Indiana, or Humane Fort Wayne (formerly Allen County SPCA).
