She was predeceased by: her parents, Buryl Johnson and Edith Johnson; her former husband Tom Hedges; her daughter Patricia Hedges; and her brother Oase Johnson.
She is survived by: her husband Hugh Wallis; her daughter Diane Lothamer (David); her stepchildren, Jim Wallis (Laura) and Jan Wulbert (Jeff); her grandchildren, Dawn Harter (Keith), Deborah Schenkel (Josh) and Daniel Lothamer (Melissa); her stepgrandchildren, Katie Baker (Brandon), Kevin Wallis, Jennifer Polizzi, Justin Wulbert (Carlena) and Josh Wulbert; and her great grandchildren, Mason, Morgan, Owen, Lucas, Joshua, Maddison, Makenna, Lorenzo, Isabella, Jack, June, Benjamin, Eli, Hannah and Clara. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in her honor may be directed to First Baptist Church, Fort Wayne.
