With solemn reverence, we commemorate Susan Ann Scheeler (Fort Wayne, Indiana), whose life came to an end on July 28, 2025 at the age of 83, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Susan may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Susan touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Heidbrink and Dorothy Heidbrink (Strasburg). She is survived by: her husband Kirk Scheeler; her children, Julie Lehman, Jenny Charles (Kelly) and Jeff Scheeler (Deb); and her siblings, Sandra Lange (Stephen) and David Heidbrink. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services (6557 N Clinton St, Fort Wayne, IN 46825). A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Emmanuel Lutheran Church.
