She is survived by: her husband Isaiah Upshaw; her stepchildren, Tondra Morgan (Charles), Trona Upshaw, Isaiah Upshaw (Qwin), Tara Upshaw and Ivan Upshaw (Sherry); her siblings, Glen Williams (Bertha), Barbara Davenport (Perry) and Sister Sharon Bynum; her nieces and nephews, Markeisha Booker (James), Natalie Bynum, Lamar Williams (Drena), Glen Williams Jr., Jarian Williams (Esmeralda) and Layne Patterson (Trashonda); her goddaughters, Dorothy Guthrie (Mark) and Kiera Sullivan; and her besties, Martha Curry, Ruth Wharton, Willie Walker and Thelma Collins. She is also survived by 6 great nieces; 9 great nephews; 11 grandchildren; and two bonus grandchildren.
