He was predeceased by: his parents, William Charles Stephens and Grace Vera Stephens; and his wife Judy Stephens. He is survived by: his sister Sharon Pace (Brian) of Yuma, Arizona; his children, Chad Cochran of New York, Elizabeth Bork (Timothy) of Bluffton, Indiana, Joshua Cochran of Fort Wayne, Indiana and Jennifer Sander (Lane) of Bluffton, Indiana.; his nephew Bryan Pace Jr.; his niece Crystal Ward (Jason); and his grandchildren, Alanis Fry, Auden, Winston, Maverick and Valor Sander. He is also survived by four step-children.
The family has requested in lieu of flowers that memorials be made in Tom's memory to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
