Thomas Patrick Moran Jr. Obituary

We announce the death of Thomas Patrick Moran Jr. (Fort Wayne, Indiana), who passed away on October 16, 2026, at the age of 80. Thomas will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Moran and Helen Moran; his siblings, Frank, Martin and Erin Moran; and his grandson Mitchell Hall.

He is survived by: his wife Lelia Earleen Moran; his children, Kelly Hall (Jim), Jennifer Knerr Moran (David) and Thomas Moran (Tina); his stepchildren, David Shearer (Grace) and Kathryn Hunsche (Robert); and his sisters, Patricia Adkins and Debra Sluder. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the First Light Church (140 Elva Ct, Vandalia, OH 45377). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Care Ministry of First Light Church.
