He was predeceased by: his parents, Bob Kearney and Shirley Kearney (Kopp); his brother Sean Kearney; and his daughter Molly Kearney. He is survived by: his spouse Ginna Kearney (Klein); his children, Katie Perkins (David) of Ft. Wayne, Margaret Ryan (Casey) of Ft. Wayne and Emmett Kearney (Anie Lee) of Indianapolis; and his brother Kevin Kearney of Worcester, MA.. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren.
A rosary was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 3:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the Divine Mercy Funeral Home - Fort Wayne (3500 Lake Ave, Fort Wayne, IN 46805). Visitation was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Queen of Angels Catholic Church (1500 W State Blvd, Fort Wayne, IN 46808).
