He was predeceased by: his wife Bonny Gray; his parents, John L. Gray and Lou Hood; his stepmother Clara Gray; and his son Vance Gray.
He is survived by: his children, Barry, Dora, Patricia and Bob; and his brother Jay Hood. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Bud's memory may be made to the Indiana Nongame Wildlife Fund.
