She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil Rodgers and Ada Rodgers (Carr); her daughter Linda Cable; and her siblings, Martha Holaday, Adah Weaver, Carr Rodgers and Mary Horvath.

She is survived by: her husband Harry Purvis; her son Gregory Purvis (Peggy) of Heritage Lake; her granddaughters, Lorraine Cable of Greenfield and Corrine Youngs (Graham) of Danville; and her great grandchildren, Vivian, Violet and Eloise Youngs.

Preferred memorials are to Lutheran Life Villages or Bethlehem Lutheran Church.
