He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Shively and Mona Shively (Krider). He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Gordon; and his children, Diane Thayer (Brian), Willard Jr. Shively (Laurna), Kimberly Igo (Brian), Cheryl Rettig (Mike), David Shively (Kate) and James Shively (Sarah). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
