He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward and Lillian Sherls; and his siblings, Denise, Andrea, Glen and Donnie.
He is survived by: his daughter Tamara Anderson (Ray); his grandchildren, Renise Anderson Stephens (Chris), Rayquise Anderson (Celeste) of Fort Wayne, IN, Ray Anderson Jr. (Chanta) of Kokomo, IN, Stasia Anderson of Akron, Shaniece Anderson of Akron, Maurice Oden of Akron and Tatyana Oden of Akron; and his siblings, Ulaine Mossette of San Pablo, CA, Karen Brown of Madison, WI, Edward Sherls Jr. of Detroit and John Echols of Detroit. He is also survived by 15 great grandchildren, a host of nieces, and nephews.
