He was predeceased by: his parents, George O. Koorsen and Violet D. Koorsen (Moberg); his wife Gloria Ann Koorsen (Richter); and his siblings, George Koorsen (Jane), James Koorsen (Marilyn), Jean Disler (Wick) and Marguerite Wisman (Jack).
He is survived by: his children, Janet Rhodes (Randy), Patricia Roberts (Mike), Mike Koorsen and Sandra Rice (Brian); his grandchildren, Jason Rhodes (Brittany), D'Arcy Roberts (Shawna), Katie Gill (Jesse), Torrie Baumgartner (Jonah), Alyssa Fohr, Ashlee Bartlett (Andrew), Matthew Rice and Hunter Rice (Sonjia); and his great grandchildren, Reagan, Emma, Isaiah, Peyton, Landon, Addie, Logan, Angelo, Antonello, Cruzito, Remington, Nova, Porter, Walker and Madison.
Memorial donations in his honor may be directed to the American Heart Association.
