He was predeceased by: his parents, William Gillen and Catherine Rita Gillen (Ruth); his wife Judith C; his siblings, John, Michael and Catherine; and his daughter Maureen Gillen.

He is survived by: his children, Kathleen Jones (Kevin) of Hyde Park, NY, Erin Baker and William Gillen; and his sister-in-law Maureen Fletcher. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
