It is with sadness that the passing of William A. Spieth of Fort Wayne, Indiana is shared. William, born on May 30, 1939, passed away on October 22, 2026. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of William A. Spieth to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John F. Speith and Rose Speith (Gerardot); his former wife Sharron Wolf; and his siblings, Loretta LaBelle, MaryAnn, Cecelia, Dorothy, Helen, Velma, John, Charles, David, Rita, Michael and Anthony.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia L. Helms; his children, Tina Stevens (Mark) of Huntertown, Roxann Shlater (Rick) of LaOtto, Indiana, Kurt Spieth (Becky) of Port Orchard, Doug Spieth (Angela) of Fort Wayne and Steven Joseph Spieth (Jennifer) of Knoxville, Tennessee; his stepchildren, Lynette Baum of Van Wert, Ruth Ann Latimer of Columbia City and John Latimer (Michelle) of New Haven; and his sisters, Shirley and Beverly. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
A rosary will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 3:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the Divine Mercy Funeral Home (3500 Lake Ave, Fort Wayne, IN 46805). Visitation will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
