Bruce Filson Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bruce Filson (Fortville, Indiana), who passed away on December 9, 2025 at the age of 88. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Bruce Filson to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Filson and Esta Filson (Snider); his sons, Carl N. and Gary R. Filson; and his siblings, Jay, Zane Filson, Joyce Robb, Dona Wainscott and Audrey Woodward.
He is survived by: his wife Cris Filson (Estes); and his children, David A. Filson (Kimberly), Mark A. Filson (Kelli) and Karen R. Tatom (Mike). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Seals Funeral Home (122 W Staat St, Fortville, IN 46040). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
