With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gerald McConnell of Fortville, Indiana, who passed away on December 18, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Gerald may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Gerald touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur W. McConnell and Vivian J. McConnell (Burnham). He is survived by: his wife Nina J. McConnell (Apple); his children, Jeffrey McConnell (Shelly) of Fortville, Laura Hollister (Brian) of Noblesville and Jennifer Robbins (Robert) of Greenfield; and his grandchildren, Morgan Moss, Benjamin Moss, Shawn Robbins, Joshua Robbins, Samuel Robbins, Evan McConnell and Grant McConnell.
