He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Kenneth and Lois Norris. He is survived by: his parents, Jeff Sylvester and Karen Norris Sylvester (Fortville); his wife Kristin Darnell Sylvester; his son Elliot Harry Sylvester; his goddaughter Mychelle Jean Miller; his grandparents, Milan Kent and Cis Sylvester of Hyattville, WY; his siblings, Jeffrey Brown, Jonny Sylvester and Kristen Gregg; and his parents-in-law, Diana McClure Darnell, David, Diane Darnell, Matt and Lindsey Willy (Darnell).

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made for the Elliot Sylvester Education Fund to New Life Christian Fellowship.
