It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Michael Patrick Sweeney of Fortville, Indiana, who passed away on May 30, 2025, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Sweeney and Loretta Sweeney; and his wife Debra Sweeney. He is survived by: his children, Ryan Sweeney (Megan), Jessica Alexander (John) and Shannon Rose (Mark); his grandchildren, Reid, Tessa, Adalynn, Debra, Emmaline and Everett; and his siblings, Kevin Sweeney (Lori), Kenny Sweeney, Kathy Elliott (Bill) and Karen Wildey (Rick). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Seals Funeral Home (122 W Staat St, Fortville, IN 46040). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Gravel Lawn Cemetery (9088 W 1025 S, Fortville, IN 46040).
