He was predeceased by: his parents, Leland Smith and Charlotte Smith (Trissel); and his siblings, Charles, Thomas Smith, Mary Jane Plumber and Susan Adams.

He is survived by: his wife Winifred Smith (Reger); his children, Cindy Gardner (Mike) of Madison, IN, Bradford Smith (Wanda) of Noblesville and Aimee Walters (Tim) of Hendersonville, NC; and his grandchildren, Chris Gardner (Nicole), Craig Gardner (Melissa), Curt Gardner (Laura), Justin Smith (Liz), Karalee Gustke (Steve), Derek Smith (Kayleigh), Nicole Lewis (Ryan), Ben Walters and Nathan Walters. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Due to the Governor's COVID-19 restrictions, we are limited to the number of guests permitted in the church.
