It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sally E. Heighway of Fountain City, Indiana, born in Plymouth, Indiana, who passed away on April 20, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, C. Russell Shively and Geneva Baer Shively; her husband Ernest Heighway; and her siblings, Dale Shively, Joe Shively and Eleanor Deaton.

She is survived by : her children, Debra Heighway, Douglas Heighway (Kimberly), David Heighway (Hila) and Daniel Heighway (Karen); and her sister Nancy McPherron (Larry). She is also survived by nine grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, May 1st 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the LifeSpring Church North (5600 U. S. Highway 27 North, Richmond, IN 47374). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 1st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, May 1st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Goshen Cemetery (3600 North St, Richmond, IN 47374).
