She was predeceased by: her parents, Myrl Cooper and Helen Cooper (Patton); her husband Jon Caton Trusty, Sr.; her children, Jon Trusty Jr., Jerry Trusty and Julie Trusty-Nawrot; and her siblings, Curtis Cooper, Roger Cooper, Janet Cooper and Nelda Farrar.
She is survived by: her son Joel Trusty (Theresa) of Fishers; her daughters-in-law, Angela Trusty and Synthia Trusty; and her sisters, Sally Risinger of Oklahoma, Peggy Cooper of Texas and Pam Durant of Indianapolis. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Freeman Family Funeral Homes (819 S Harrison St, Shelbyville, IN 46176). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Bradley Hall (2 W Main St, Greenfield, IN 46140).
