He was predeceased by: his parents, John Delmar and Mary Fleming (Oliver); his former wife Jane Fleming; his brother James Fleming; his stepson Gordon Acton; and his grandsons, Patrick Fleming and Austin Harper.
He is survived by: his wife Colleen Fleming (McGrath); and his children, John David Fleming, Robert Dennis Fleming (Lisa), Michael Duane Fleming, Thomas Dean Fleming (Molly), Amy Whistler (Bryan), Joshua Garriott (Ashley), Carrie Garriott, Dorothy Whiteman (Eric) and Yale Acton (Melissa). He is also survived by 14 Grandchildren.
