He was predeceased by : his mother Barbara Jean Baird; his sisters, Debra Hall and Karla Mershon; and his grandparents, Lloyd and Ruth Schumacher.

He is survived by : his father Schumacher; and his sisters, Carol Smith and Rebecca Reed of Clovis, California. He is also survived by several aunts, an uncle, several nieces and nephews; and many great and great-great nieces and nephews.
