With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Willis Rusk of Francesville, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 2, 2026 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let his loved ones carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though Willis may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was predeceased by: his mother Blanche Rusk Buell (Allee); his stepfather Chester Buell; his wife Jean; and his siblings, Faye Popplewell, Lavina Randall and James Buell.
He is survived by: his children, Deb McIlrath (Jack) of Monticello and Don Rusk (Melanie) of Rensselaer. He is also survived by five grandchildren and two step grandchildren; ten great grandchildren and three step great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be given to the White County Shrine Club OR White County Salvation Army.
