It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wilma Akers of Francisco, Indiana, who passed away on December 27, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl White and Thelma White (Gentry); her brother Boone White; and her in-laws, Ray and Virgina Akers.
She is survived by: her husband James Akers; her daughters, Jamie Whitehead (Dee) and Tracey Akers; her granddaughters, Kaylan Aikman (Tyler) and Jordyn Akles (Kenzie); and her great grandchildren, Khole, Zoey, Ava, Kali and Kai. She is also survived by her three sisters; and several nieces and nephews.
