He was predeceased by: his parents, Billy M. Hughes and Nellie Beatrice Hughes (Scott); and his siblings, Anna Pearl Bailey, Dorothy Flintcraft, Nina Pate and Ed Hughes.
He is survived by: his sons, David of Frankfort and Danny Hughes of Frankfort; his grandchildren, Danny Freeman (Rachel), Brittany Doty, Scott Hughes, Cory Hughes (Liz) and Erica Lowe (Keith); his stepgrandchild Ashley Lacefield (Keith); his great grandchildren, Gabriel Freeman, Braxton Doty, Rider Doty, Haden Hughes, Kaylee Hughes, Datson Hughes, Emery Hughes, Carson Hughes, Chloe Hughes, Elijah Hughes, Hallie Mofford, Payton Mofford, Arianna Mofford and Malachai Mofford; and his sisters, Hilda Buttz and Glenda Calvert.
