He is survived by: his mother Peggy Barton (Heck) of Lafayette; his wife Grace Salazar-Barton of Frankfort; his daughters, Angie Salazar (Alejandro Magallanes) of Clarksville, TN, Alayna Barton of Frankfort and Laikyn Barton of Frankfort; his sister Robin Spitznagel of Battleground; his grandchildren, Isla and Zahir; his nieces and nephews, Carly Schafer (Phil) of Brownsburg, Cody Spitznagel of Lafayette, Ellie and Cam; and his in-laws, Dora and Alfonso Salazar of Lafayette.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church or Brianna's Hope, 1951 Wilshire Dr., Frankfort, IN 46041.
