He is survived by: his stepson Scott Merritt (Kristlyn) of Frankfort; his grandchildren, Emily Cummings (Alec), Grant Merritt and Grace Merritt; his great grandchildren, Braylee, Christopher, Skyler Cummings and Tatum Merritt; and his sisters, Ruth Lambert and Esther Nicholson (Richard). He is also survived by several extended family members and friends.
