Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint James Paul leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John L. Chaney and Betty E. Chaney (Todd); his wife Judith Stinson; and his siblings, Donald Chaney, Jean Chaney and Opal Leap.
He is survived by: his sons, Jeffery Chaney (Carol) of Crawfordsville, Jamey Chaney (Judy) of Frankfort and Jerry Chaney (Stacey) of Colfax. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made to the Manson Congregational Christian Church.
