Karen S (Lewis) Hinton Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Karen S (Lewis) Hinton of Frankfort, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 5, 2025 at the age of 83. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Karen S (Lewis) Hinton to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Franklin E. Lewis and Dorothy P. Lewis (Cory); her daughter Regina Brittain; and her son-in-law Edward "Ed" Carney. She is survived by: her husband Jimmy Hinton; her children, Jimmy Hinton Jr. (Tammy) and Cheryl Carney; and her grandchildren, Jeremy Baker (Deb), Shannon Cruz (Daniel), Brittney Pritzer (Nathan), Amanda Hinton, Jimmy Lee Hinton (Amy), Jennifer Hinton, Kevin Hinton, Tommy Hinton, Brandon Hinton, Melissa Montgomery, Crystal Montgomery, Joey Montgomery (Tiana), Jackie Carney and Taren Carney (Travis). She is also survived by 33 great-grandchildren, and several great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, on Monday, November 10th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM and at 12:30 PM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 10th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Day & Genda Funeral Home (608 N Main St, Frankfort, IN 46041). A burial will be held on Monday, November 10th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Bunnell Cemetery North Bunnell (1175 N County Rd 200 W, Frankfort, IN 46041).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Karen's honor to the Boys and Girls Club.
