She was predeceased by: her parents, John Reeves and Opal Reeves (Robison); and her husband James Duane Thomas. She is survived by: her daughters, Carol Marie Sims and Tina Lynn Thomas Winegard (Shirldon); her grandchildren, CJ Thomas, Shirldon Winegard III, Aaron Michael Winegard, Julie Winegard and Amanda Wise; and her great grandchildren, Claudia May and Amber Rose.

Visitation will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Archer-Weston Funeral and Cremation Center (501 E Clinton St, Frankfort, IN 46041). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Archer-Weston Funeral & Cremation Center (501 E Clinton St, Frankfort, IN 46041).
